Leiter gives up Grand Slam in Loss to Arizona 7-5
Bronx, NY (New York Yankees App) - The Yankees are not going to launch torpedoes all season. The Bombers leared that Tueaday night in the Bronx as they blew a late lead to Arizona in a 7-5 loss, their first defeat of the season following a sweep of the Brewers.
Mark Leiter Jr allowed a grand slam to Eugenio Suarez in the eighth-inning to give Arizona the lead for good. Yankees starting pitcher Will Warren had a solid outing, only allowing two runs on one hit and four walks.
