Gallen leads Arizona over Yankees 4-3


New York, NY (New York Yankees App) -Arizona starting pitcher Zac Galled tied his career high with 13 strikeouts while extending his scoreless streak against the Yankees to 18 2/3 innings, as the Diamondbacks took game two in the series 4-3 on a chilly night at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday, April 2, 2025.

Arizona reliever gave up an opposite-field three-run homer in the ninth to shortstop Anthony Volpe, then retired Austin Wells on a foulout and struck out Jasson Dominguez for his second save in two nights.
